Comprehensive Medicare Advisors was founded in 2013 by Maria Cavanaugh, an insurance broker who saw a need for local insurance support focusing on the Medicare health insurance space. Her approach started with building a business foundation for local support and service, and her idea was born and continues to expand the services throughout Pennsylvania.
Today, Maria Cavanaugh proudly serves her communities by giving their clients confidence in their healthcare choices and helping them with the guidance they need to live life to the fullest. Her 40 years of combined experience in the insurance industry have earned them a 99 percent client retention rate. Maria Cavanaugh founded Comprehensive Insurance Advisors in 2001 to assist employers in creating an employee benefits package. In 2013, she founded Comprehensive Medicare Advisors to help employers and individuals navigate the Medicare enrollment process.
As a consultant, she understands that each beneficiary’s healthcare situation is unique. She uses her 35+ years of expertise to guide those in her community through selecting benefits that best suit their financial and health needs. Whether for groups or individual beneficiaries, Maria puts together optimized coverage plans for her clients to provide them access to the best quality care. Throughout her tremendously successful and expansive career, Maria has helped thousands of individuals navigate the insurance system, providing vital advocacy, education, support, and services along the way. She has also helped launch the career of many insurance agents, providing critical mentorship and opportunity for those she has worked with. The relationships Maria continues to build with her clients fuel her passion for instilling confidence and peace of mind in those aging into the Medicare program.
Maria resides in West Chester, PA, with her husband as a newly empty nester. In addition to educating beneficiaries within her community, she enjoys working out, sewing, and spending summer weekends with her family in Ocean City, NJ.

Alexis Siefert is the Client Service Manager for Comprehensive Medicare Advisors. In her role, she handles any client issues, such as billing, claims issues, or coverage questions.
She loves the challenge of putting the pieces of the puzzle together to solve any potential problems and is known for her commitment to serving others. In her free time, she enjoys reading and relaxing with her dog, Ripley.
